Our Drive-In Concert tickets are per carload. One car = one ticket. The maximum number of guests allowed per vehicle is equal to the number of permanent seat belts in the vehicle. We recommend that guests traveling in the same vehicle should be from the same family unit or those who have been socially distancing in the same household. Tickets are available for purchase here.
No walk-up sales. All tickets must be purchased in advance online. All sales will end 60 minutes prior to showtime. Tickets are available for purchase here .
The concert is located in Student Lot #2 directly behind the Wilson Center. Please see our maps & directions and parking page for more info. Please not that the cost of parking is included in all drive-in tickets.
We recommend attending the concert in a standard 2-door or 4-door vehicle. Convertibles and pickup trucks are permitted. No oversized vehicles or vehicles that obstruct views will be allowed into the venue, including but not limited to: motorcycles, golf carts, high capacity vans, buses, or RVs. All attendees must be in the vehicle at point of entry. No Uber, Lyfts, or Taxis will be permitted to drop guests off. Attendees must remain in their vehicles for the duration of the event. The only exception is to use the restroom located on the perimeter of the lot.
Yes, there are portable restrooms located on the perimeter of the lot. In accordance with the State of North Carolina’s mandate, we require that all guests wear a mask or facial covering when interacting with staff and exiting your vehicle to use the restroom. Please maintain recommended physical distancing (6 feet or more) from those outside of your party at all times. There will be markings on the ground to guide you when waiting in line at the restroom.
The parking lot will open one hour prior to showtime at 7pm. Vehicles will not be permitted to enter after a show begins at 8pm. Refunds will not be provided.
Please reference the Wilson Center’s Guidelines for Returning to the Center for the most up-to-date health and safety information and recommendations.
This is a rain or shine event. If there is inclement weather (i.e. lightning, tornado, hurricane), we will notify ticket buyers via email and social media of any event changes.
Under the mass gathering guidelines set forth by the State of North Carolina, guests will not be permitted to sit outside of their vehicle. You must remain in your vehicle at all times, except to use the restroom. Guests are, however, permitted to have the top down on convertibles and jeeps, as well as sit in the bed of their trucks. You may also “back in” to your space and sit in the trunk of your car. In accordance with the State of North Carolina’s mandate, we require that all guests wear a mask or facial covering when interacting with staff and exiting your vehicle to use the restroom. Please maintain recommended physical distancing (6 feet or more) from those outside of your party at all times.
Vehicle placement will be at the discretion of management, and in compliance with local and state health guidelines. Please follow the instructions from our staff and volunteers on site. If you would like to “back in” to your space, just let us know! Please note that larger vehicles will be placed in the back to maximize viewing for all guests.
There will be amplified sound and sound will come through FM radio transmission. In order to enjoy the concert experience, it is recommended that ticket purchasers arrive in a vehicle equipped with a functioning, tunable, FM receiver (typically in your vehicle radio). The FM station will be provided at the concert prior to showtime.
The concert is 75 minutes. There is no opening act and no intermission.
