Marketing Manager

Brendan Cook serves as the Marketing Manager at The Wilson Center, and oversees all aspects of marketing and brand development. He works closely with a talented team to let the Cape Fear region know about all the amazing performances being brought to the Wilson Center, whether it be amazing local talents, regional stars, the bright lights of Broadway, or even stunning international performers.
Brendan’s love of live performance comes from both his family and his own personal background. His grandfather was very active in local community theatre, and both sides of the family were very musical; his own turn before the footlights began at age 8, in a performance of the Wizard of Oz. More recently, his talents have taken him to radio and to a more ‘behind-the-scenes” position.
His career in marketing began in journalism, both broadcast and print, over 20 years ago. Since that time, Brendan has worked in daily journalism and magazine journalism, and has run a freelance creative agency which has done work at every level, from single clients to large national corporations. The Wilson Center provides new and unique challenges, as well as fantastic opportunities … along with some fantastic shows!
