Robert Coluccio ( Production Manager) is a native of Brooklyn, NY and has been working professionally in live entertainment for over 30 years. A graduate of the State University of New York at Albany with a degree in Technical Theatre, he began working at Albany’s Park Playhouse in the summer of 1986 as a stage hand and fulfilling his time there 4 years later as Technical Director. Since then, he has been an Adjunct Professor at Siena College in Loudonville, NY as well as Columbia-Greene Community College in Hudson, NY. Robert then toured the country many times over with the National Productions of It’s A Wonderful Life, 42nd Street, Camelot, Jolson: The Musical, Grease, and West Side Story. Following his days on the road, Robert constructed sets for several touring productions, including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Annie Get Your Gun, and Thoroughly Modern Millie. As co-founder of Scenic Asylum in Wilmington, Robert built over 200 sets for Opera House Theatre Company, Thalian Association, Big Dawg Productions, Minerva Productions, Level 5 at City Stage and many others. Robert joined the staff at Wilson Center in 2016 as the Production Manager, supporting a diverse clientele of dance, symphony, rock, comedy, Broadway and educational programming. When not working, Robert enjoys the great outdoors: hiking, camping, kayaking, biking and going to the beach.
